Why that counted as sanctity
A Spanish Augustinian who served as a missionary in Hunan and died at Lake Dongting in 1933; his cause is treated as one of martyrdom. The nihil obstat was given on 14 May 2004 and the competent forum was transferred to Palencia in 2003.
