Who they were
The decree on martyrdom describes him as a brother of the Order of Preachers in charge of the workshops, born on 2 February 1894, who made his profession as a lay cooperator brother in 1931; it records that he and three companions were killed with other prisoners on 17 August 1936, having cried out 'Long live Christ the King' before they were shot. He was beatified on 28 October 2007 by Pope Benedict XVI.
