Who they were
At Egmond in Frisia, in present-day Holland, Saint Adalbert, deacon and abbot, who helped Saint Willibrord in the work of evangelisation.

There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 25 June as a deacon and abbot at Egmond who helped Saint Willibrord evangelise Frisia.
