Father Jacek Woroniecki was a Dominican moral theologian and educator, professor at the Catholic University of Lublin and the Angelicum in Rome, rector of KUL from 1922 to 1924, renewer of the Polish Dominican province and founder of the Dominican Missionary Sisters of Jesus and Mary.

His beatification process opened in Kraków on 7 December 2004; the tribunal heard 51 witnesses in 58 sessions and Archbishop Marek Jędraszewski closed the diocesan stage on 27 February 2023, sending the acts to the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints.
