Who they were
Adolphus Ludigo Mukasa was a courtier known for his purity of life and his patience in misfortune. He was baptised on 17 November 1885.
He professed the Catholic faith firmly with the others until his death for Christ at the age of 25. He is one of the 22 martyrs of Uganda, St Charles Lwanga, St Matthias Mulumba Kalemba and companions, put to death under King Mwanga.
