Who they were
Adolfo Martínez Sáez was born in 1898 in the village of Alhabia, in the province and diocese of Almería, and was a layman, a schoolmaster and a night adorer.
He was killed at Pozo de Cantavieja on 26 September 1936, and was beatified on 25 March 2017 by Pope Francis, among the companions of José Álvarez-Benavides de la Torre.
