Who they were
At Poitiers in the region of Aquitaine, in France, Saint Agnes, abbess, who, consecrated by the blessing of Saint Germanus of Paris, governed the monastery of the Holy Cross with a great spirit of charity.

There was never a formal cause: she has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
