Who they were
Near the city of Marrakesh in present-day Morocco, the passion of the holy martyrs Berard, Otho, Peter, priests, Accursius and Adjutus, religious, of the Order of Friars Minor: sent by Saint Francis to proclaim the Gospel of Christ to the Muslims, captured at Seville and taken to Marrakesh, by order of the chief of the Moors they were run through with the sword.

The Roman Martyrology does not describe the miracles approved in the cause.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 16 January as one of the Franciscan friars sent by Saint Francis to the Muslims and killed with the sword at Marrakesh.
