Who they were
Alexandre de Barcelona was born at Barcelona on 25 July 1910, made his solemn profession on 27 July 1931 and was ordained priest on 11 March 1933. He was killed in the cemetery of Montcasa-Rexac on 23 November 1936.
He was beatified on 21 November 2015 by Pope Francis, among the twenty-six Capuchin martyrs of Barcelona.
