Who they were
In the Dachau prison camp near Munich in Bavaria in Germany, Blessed Alojzy Liguda, priest of the Society of the Divine Word and martyr, who, during the wartime invasion of Poland, murdered by the prison guards, bore witness to Christ the Lord unto death.

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 8 December as a Divine Word priest murdered by the guards at Dachau.
