Who they were
At Clermont-Ferrand in Aquitaine, in France, Saint Illidius, bishop, who, called by the emperor to Trier to free his daughter from an unclean spirit, passed to the Lord on the journey home.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 5 June as a bishop of Clermont who died returning from Trier, where the emperor had called him to free his daughter from an unclean spirit.
