Who they were
The decree on martyrdom records that he was born at Torrente in 1866 and was a true Franciscan for his sincerity and humility. He was put to death at Montserrat in the province of Valencia on 18 September 1936; the Roman Martyrology commemorates him there as a priest of the Third Order of Capuchins of Our Lady of Sorrows and martyr. He was beatified on 11 March 2001 by Pope John Paul II.

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.

The Roman Martyrology says he received the crown of martyrdom for the witness he gave to Christ.
