Who they were
At Alexandria in Egypt, commemoration of the holy martyrs Bassianus, Thonius, Protus and Lucius, who were thrown into the sea, Cyrion, priest, Agatho, exorcist, and Moses, who were burned at the stake, and Dionysius and Ammonius, who, pierced with the sword, reached eternal glory.

There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
