Anastasia Yi Bong-geum

Who they were

Anastasia Yi Bong-geum was one of the Korean martyrs listed by the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints, and was killed at Jeonju on 5 December, in a year the list prints as 1939 although she stands among martyrs of 1839, at the age of 12.

She was beatified on 16 August 2014 by Pope Francis, with the other martyrs of the same cause.

The miracles

As a martyr she was raised to the altars without a miracle.

The Dicastery for the Causes of Saints names her in its list of the Korean martyrs beatified on 16 August 2014.
