Who they were
Born at Spišská Stará Ves in Slovakia, he joined the Discalced Augustinians in Bohemia in 1934, made his novitiate near Tivoli and died at twenty-five, remembered by his novice master as a model of religious observance. The order calls him Brother Luigi, the Italian form of the religious name the Hagiography Circle records as Alojz.
