Andrés Iniesta Egea was born on 13 January 1877 at Zurgena, and was ordained priest in 1903.
He was killed on 1 September 1936 at Pozo de la Lagarta, and Pope Francis beatified him on 25 March 2017 among José Álvarez-Benavides de la Torre and 114 companions, diocesan priests and lay faithful killed between 1936 and 1938.
