Who they were
Andrew Kim Cheon-ae was one of the martyrs of Korea. The list of the Korean martyrs published by the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints records that he was killed at Jeonju on 27 August 1801, at the age of 41; he was beatified on 16 August 2014 by Pope Francis.
