Ángel López Salazar was a diocesan priest, born at Baeza on 5 August 1881 and assistant parish priest of San Pablo in Baeza, who was killed on 3 December 1936 at the age of 55. He was beatified on 13 December 2025 by Pope Leo XIV among the 124 martyrs of Jaén.
