Who they were
The decree on martyrdom records that he was born in 1876, made his perpetual profession in 1897 and was killed on 11 October 1936. The Roman Martyrology commemorates him at Barcelona as a religious of the Salesian Society and martyr. He was beatified on 11 March 2001 by Pope John Paul II.
The miracles
As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology says he completed his battle for the faith in a time of persecution against the Church.
