Italian Capuchin friar, missionary in Eritrea and Ethiopia
Who they were
Pittavino was provincial minister of the Piedmontese Capuchins and then a missionary among the Bilen at Keren in Eritrea from 1914 and in Addis Ababa from 1938 until his expulsion in 1942; he died at Bra in 1953.
