Who they were
During the Second World War she gathered food supplies and first-aid kits with the scouts, worked in the ambulance service, organised help for street children and for the Warsaw insurgents, and ran clandestine teaching from 1942 to 1944; she later became a teacher and head of the state secondary school of fine arts in Jarosław.

Why that counted as sanctity
The archdiocese of Przemyśl calls her a Servant of God; her cause received the nihil obstat on 9 November 1992 and the diocesan inquiry ran from 26 March 1993 to 20 February 1999.
