Who they were
Antonio Baldinucci was born in Florence on 19 June 1665, entered the Society of Jesus on 21 April 1681 and was ordained on 28 October 1695.
He spent the rest of his life preaching missions, chiefly around Frascati and Viterbo, with startling methods: great processions, penitents crowned with thorns, and himself carrying a cross and chains. He died on 6 November 1717.
The miracles
The Catholic Encyclopedia does not describe the miracles approved in the cause. His process was begun in 1753.
