Who they were
At Constantinople, Saint Anthusa, virgin, who, daughter of the emperor Constantine Copronymus, worked by every means to help the poor, ransom slaves, repair churches and build monasteries, and received the monastic habit from the bishop Saint Tarasius.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: she has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers her on 18 April as a daughter of Emperor Constantine Copronymus who helped the poor, ransomed slaves and built monasteries.
