Who they were
Antoine Fournier was a craftsman of the diocese of Angers who was shot at Avrillé, near Angers, in the time of the French Revolution for his faithfulness to the Church. He was beatified on 19 February 1984 by Pope John Paul II, with Guillaume Repin and the ninety-eight other martyrs of Angers.
