Antonin de Césarée

Who they were
At Caesarea in Palestine, the passion of the holy martyrs Antoninus, Nicephorus, Zebinas, Germanus and Manatho, virgin. She, after suffering scourging, was then put to the stake under the Emperor Galerius Maximinus; the others were beheaded for having boldly and frankly accused the governor Firmilian of impiety because he was sacrificing to the gods.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 13 November as a martyr of Caesarea in Palestine, beheaded for boldly accusing the governor Firmilian of impiety.
