Who they were
At Nicaea in Bithynia, in present-day Turkey, Saint Antonina, martyr, who, cruelly tortured and subjected to various torments, after hanging for three days and being shut in prison for two years, was at last burned by the governor Priscillian while professing her faith in the Lord.

There was never a formal cause: she has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.

The Roman Martyrology remembers her on 4 May as a martyr of Nicaea burned by the governor Priscillian after long torture and imprisonment.
