Who they were
Antonio Casany Vilarrasa, born at Calldetenes, near Barcelona, on 4 December 1895, made his religious profession as a lay brother in the Congregation of the Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (the Claretians) on 15 August 1920.
He was killed at Sant Pere dels Arquells on 11 August 1936, and Pope Francis beatified him with his companions on 21 October 2017.
