Antonio Cobo Muñoz was a layman, born at Linares on 20 October 1898, founder and president of Catholic Action in Linares, who was arrested in church by militiamen and killed on 18 September 1936 at the age of 38. He was beatified on 13 December 2025 by Pope Leo XIV among the 124 martyrs of Jaén.
