Antonio Jesús Díaz Ramos

Who they were

Antonio Jesús Díaz Ramos was born at Bollullos del Condado in Huelva on 31 December 1896, was ordained priest on 18 December 1920 and was made parish administrator at Cazalla de la Sierra near Seville in 1931. Arrested in the night of 18 July 1936, he was put to death in the prison of Cazalla de la Sierra on 5 August. Pope Francis beatified him on 18 November 2023.
