Antonio Maria Pucci
Italian saint (1819–1892)
Feast: 12 January (not on the universal Roman calendar; kept in the Roman Martyrology or local calendars)
Who they were
Eustachio Pucci was born at Poggiole di Vernio, near Florence, on 16 April 1819 to a poor but faith-filled farming family, and loved helping his father keep the church. Called by the Lord, he joined the Servants of Mary.
A priest and Definitor General of his order, what he loved most was being a parish priest: for 48 years at Sant'Andrea in Viareggio he gave himself to formation, catechesis and works of charity for the needy.
