Who they were
Antonio Moreno Sevilla was born on 30 December 1889 and was one of the lay faithful of the diocese of Córdoba put to death in the persecution of the Church in Spain, suffering martyrdom on 23 August 1936. He was beatified on 16 October 2021 by Pope Francis among Juan Elías Medina and 126 companions of the diocese of Córdoba.
