Who they were
Antonio Torres García was born on 24 April 1890 at Caniles, in the province of Granada and the diocese of Guadix, and was ordained priest in 1915.
He was killed on 29 September 1936 at the place called Polvorín, and Pope Francis beatified him on 25 March 2017 among José Álvarez-Benavides de la Torre and 114 companions, diocesan priests and lay faithful killed between 1936 and 1938.
