Who they were
At Ōmura in Japan, Blesseds Apollinaris Franco, of the Order of Friars Minor, Thomas Zumárraga, of the Order of Preachers, priests, and four companions, martyrs, who out of hatred for the Christian faith were thrown into prison and then burned at the stake.
