Who they were
Aquilino Rivera Tamargo was born on 4 January 1907 at Peal del Becerro, in the province and diocese of Jaén, and was ordained priest in 1933.
He was killed on 22 November 1936 in the cemetery of Almería, and Pope Francis beatified him on 25 March 2017 among José Álvarez-Benavides de la Torre and 114 companions, diocesan priests and lay faithful killed between 1936 and 1938.
