Who they were

In Africa, commemoration of the holy Spanish martyrs Arcadius, Paschasius, Probus and Eutychian, who, refusing in any way to submit to the Arian heresy, were first stripped of their goods by Genseric, King of the Vandals, then sent into exile and subjected to terrible tortures and finally slain by various kinds of martyrdom. On this occasion there also shone the steadfastness of the little Paulillus, brother of Paschasius and Eutychian, who for his stubborn determination to keep the Catholic faith was long beaten with rods and then condemned to the lowest slavery.

The miracles

There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 13 November as a Spanish martyr in Africa who refused to submit to Arianism under the Vandal king Genseric.
