Who they were
At Zamora, likewise in Spain, commemoration of Saint Attilanus, bishop, who, at first a monk, was an extraordinary companion of Saint Froilan in drawing to Christ the regions previously devastated by the Moors.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 5 October as a monk-bishop of Zamora and companion of Saint Froilan.
