Audomar
bishop of Therouanne

Who they were
Audomar (Omer), born of a distinguished family, entered the monastery of Luxeuil with his father about 615 and became learned in the Scriptures.
At King Dagobert's request he was consecrated Bishop of Thérouanne in 637, where Christianity had almost vanished; with monks from Luxeuil, including St Bertin, he soon firmly re-established the Faith, and about 654 founded the Abbey of St Peter at Sithiu. He is believed to have died about 670.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
A monk-bishop who brought a lapsed people back to the Faith.
