Who they were
The two French missionaries of the Société des Missions Étrangères de Paris were killed in 1854 at Somme, near the Tibetan route, while trying to reach Tibet.

Why that counted as sanctity
Bishop George Pallipparambil of Miao set up the diocesan board of inquiry on 14 September 2019, after the approval of the North East Regional Bishops' Council and the nihil obstat from the Congregation for the Causes of Saints; both he and his companion Nicolas-Michel Krick are Servants of God.
