Father Augustine Pereira, born at Tuticorin in 1854, worked at Panjampatti in Tamil Nadu and is named as one of the founders of the congregation that promotes his cause. The nihil obstat is dated 26 March 2015 and the diocesan inquiry ran in the diocese of Dindigul from 21 October 2016 to 10 December 2018; he is titled Servant of God.
