Who they were

Near Bourges in Aquitaine, in France, Saint Augusto, priest and abbot, whose hands and feet were so contracted that he could support himself only on his knees and elbows; healed through the intercession of Saint Martin, he gathered monks around him and devoted himself unceasingly to prayer.

The miracles

There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 7 October as a crippled priest healed through Saint Martin who became an abbot near Bourges.
