Who they were
At Lyon in France, the burial of Saint Aurelianus, bishop of Arles, who, appointed vicar in France by Pope Vigilius, built two monasteries in his city, one for men and one for women, giving them a rule he had written himself.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 16 June as a bishop of Arles and papal vicar who founded two monasteries with his own rule.
