Who they were
At Córdoba in Andalusia in Spain, Saints martyrs George, deacon and Syrian monk, Aurelio and Sabigotho (Natalia), spouses, and Felix and Liliosa, likewise spouses, who during the persecution of the Moors, moved by the desire to bear witness to faith in Christ, were thrown into prison, never ceased to praise Christ and finally died beheaded.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 27 July as one of the married martyrs of Córdoba beheaded during the persecution of the Moors.
