Who they were
At Nagasaki in Japan, the blessed martyrs Louis Flores, priest of the Order of Preachers, Peter de Zuniga, priest of the Order of the Hermits of Saint Augustine, and thirteen Japanese sailor companions, who landed in the harbour and were arrested at once because of their Christian faith, and after various torments all underwent one and the same martyrdom together.
Among those named is Blessed Bartholomew Mohioye, one of the thirteen Japanese sailors.

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 19 August as one of the thirteen Japanese sailors martyred at Nagasaki with Louis Flores and Peter de Zuniga.
