Who they were
Near the town of Celloli in Tuscany, Blessed Bartolo Buonpedoni, priest, who, struck by leprosy at sixty, left the care of his parish and, taking the habit of the Third Order of Saint Francis, patiently gave help to everyone in the hospital where he lived shut away.

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 12 December as a priest struck by leprosy who served others patiently in a hospital as a Franciscan tertiary.
