Who they were
Bonifacia Rodríguez Castro was born in Salamanca on 6 June 1837, the eldest of six children of devout artisans. Her meeting with the Catalan Jesuit Francisco Javier Butinyà changed her life.
She founded the Servants of St Joseph on the model of the Holy Family of Nazareth, to promote working women through prayer and work. Later, travelling in 1883 to the congregation's house of Santa Teresa, she was told 'We have been ordered not to receive you', and went back to Zamora heartbroken.

The Dicastery's biography does not describe the miracles approved in the cause.
Why that counted as sanctity
She gave working women a home of prayer and work like Nazareth, and bore being shut out by her own congregation.
