Who they were
Pierre Romançon was born at Thuret on 14 June 1805 and went from farm work to the Brothers of the Christian Schools' school at Riom. He wanted to join the Brothers but at first was refused for his small stature.
Received at last as Brother Benildus, he spent his whole life forming the young.
