The Roman Martyrology remembers him near the town of Monticchiello in Tuscany as a religious of the Order of the Servants of Mary, who withdrew to the cave of Monte Amiata in Sienese territory and there led a life of penance.
He was beatified on 23 December 1829 by Pope Pius VIII.
