Who they were
Born at Lodoso, near Burgos, on 3 April 1861 and ordained priest in Cuba on 4 April 1885, he gave himself to teaching and, back in Spain, was a confessor of the Daughters of Charity; he was killed on 12 December 1936. Pope Francis beatified him with José María Fernández Sánchez and his companions on 11 November 2017.
