Who they were
Born at Villalta, near Burgos, on 30 March 1885 and ordained priest on 13 August 1911, he was esteemed as a spiritual director and confessor and helped to run the magazine Medalla Milagrosa; he was killed on 19 October 1936. Pope Francis beatified him with José María Fernández Sánchez and his companions on 11 November 2017.
