Who they were
Bernardino Espejo Garrido was a diocesan priest, born at Martos on 10 March 1876 and chaplain of the monastery of the Trinitarian Sisters in Martos, who was killed on 15 January 1937 at the age of 61. He was beatified on 13 December 2025 by Pope Leo XIV among the 124 martyrs of Jaén.
